Detail Itinerary

Day 01  Yangon arrival
 Welcome at Yangon International Airport and transfer to hotel and overnight in Yangon.

 Day 02  Yangon - Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) (coach)
    
Breakfast at hotel and depart for Kyaikhtiyo Mountain (approx four hour) and truck up to the upper point (approx one hour). Continue walk up (approx 45 min) to the famous Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda site. The rock is completely covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of the cliff. As an easier alternative to walking, four porters at an extra cost can carry visitors in sedan chairs. Overnight in Kyaikhtiyo.

Day 03  Golden Rock - Bago (coach)
     Breakfast at hotel, visit around Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda site. Return to the base camp and come back to Bago and visit Bago city tour. (Bago city tour includes Kyaikpun Pagoda to observe 4 gigantic seated Buddha images, Shwethalyaung the reclining Buddha image believe to have been built in 994 AD, Shwemawdaw Pagoda and Kambawzathady palace ground.) Overnight in Bago.

 Day 04  Bago - Mandalay (train)
       
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to railway station and board on Mandalay bound train (11UP 0800-2200). Overnight in Mandalay.

 Day 05  Mandalay - Amarapura - Sagaing - Mandalay (coach)
       
Upon arrival in Mandalay, transfer to hotel. Visit ancient capital Amarapura and Sagaing and overnight in Mandalay.

(Amarapura meaning the city of immortality, the visitors can observe the lunch process of hundreds of Buddhists monks at Mahagandayon monastery. Sagaing, one can visit famous Kaungmudaw pagoda and around picturesque Sagaing hill, a retreat for Buddhist devotees. After that, continue visit majestic Mandalay hill and enjoy fantastic sunset view from the hill top.)

 Day 06  Mandalay - Mingun - Mandalay (boat)
       
Breakfast at hotel and visit to Kywezun jetty and board on privately chartered boat for Mingun across Ayeyarwaddy River. Visit Mingun with bullock cart and return to Mandalay. Continue to visit Mandalay, enjoy fantastic view of sunset from the Mandalay hill. Overnight in Mandalay.
(Mingun sightseeing places are Mingun bell, the world's largest ringing bell weighing 90 tons, Pathodawgyi Pagoda an enormous pile of bricks remain, Myatheintan Pagoda built in 19 century.)
(Mandalay tour highlights are "the largest book" at Kuthodaw Pagoda where entire Buddhist canon recorded on stone tablets totaling 729 in number. "Shwe Kyaung" is meaning of golden monastery to observe finest Myanmar wooden architecture.)

 Day 7  Mandalay - Bagan (cruise) 
        Early morning transfer to jetty for a day cruise to Bagan along Myanma lifespan Ayeyarwaddy River.

Upon arrival in Bagan, transfer to hotel and overnight in Bagan.

 

Day 08   Bagan Sightseeing
 
Breakfast at hotel. Tour in the Asia richest archaeological zone includes the major monuments. Visiting magnificent temples and towering pagodas with ancient and beautifully painted murals dating back over a millennium. The temple interiors are often filled with rows of Buddha, images of guardian "Nats" or spirit gods and intricate murals depicting the life of Buddha and scene of royalty. In the evening a climb up "Bagan Tower" view of the sun setting over the mighty river and the surrounding plain filled with countless temples and pagodas. Also visit to lacquer-ware workshop and the long process of making bowls and trays that often take months to complete. Overnight in Bagan. Yangon.

Day 09 Bagan - Kalaw (coach)

  After breakfast, depart for Kalaw through the mainland and twisting and turning hilly drive through Shan plateau. En-route visit Mt.Popa, said to be the core of an extinct volcano. Mt. Popa considered the abode of most powerful "Nats" spirit and important Nat worship center as well as major pilgrimage destinations. After a long day drive you will feel cool comfortable to arrive this hill station town. Overnight in Kalaw.

Day 10 Kalaw free
 
Breakfast at hotel and leisure rest of the day; visit near by ethnic villages to observe their daily life. Overnight in Kalaw.

Day 11 Kalaw - Pindaya – Inle Lake (coach)
  Breakfast at hotel and depart for Pindaya Cave, known to the world as the home of the countless Buddha images. The road to Pindaya winds over the rolling hills of the Shan plateau through colorful mustard and wheat field. Explore around wonder of the mystery cave and near by Pa O traditional paper umbrella making process. Proceed to Inle Lake (approx. 2 hour). Overnight in Nyaung Shwe.

Day 12 Inle Lake excursion (boat)
  Traveling on the lake is an exhilarating experience for nature lovers and a chance to observe the unique traditions of the Inthas people. Breakfast at hotel and start the Inle lake tour board on a traditional motorized boat for a sightseeing tour of the lake. Visit one of the local markets, floating village of Ywama and the weaving village of Inpawkhone and Phaungdaw Oo pagoda with five Buddha images hidden under gold leaf. Overnight in Nyaung Shwe.

Day 13 Inle Lake - Heho - Yangon (flight)
  Breakfast at hotel transfer to Heho airport for Yangon bound flight. Upon arrival continue visit National museum to observe display of lion throne of King Thibaw, the last king of Myanmar monarch together with other historical importance such jewelry, royal furniture and wood carving, Myanmar traditional musical instruments and costumes of ethnic minorities. After that, proceed to city tour in the afternoon. Overnight in Yangon..
  (City tour includes Shwedagon Pagoda one of the world's most spectacular religious monuments. The golden dome rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Karaweik is known to be a royal barge on the royal lake for the fantastic photo view, Chaukhtatgyi reclining Buddha image. You may walk around Sule Pagoda and the Independence monument and high court to observe the colonial styled red-bricked buildings.)

Day 14 Yangon departure
 
Breakfast at hotel and visit Bogyoke market. In the evening, we transfer to airport for your departure to complete this tour.

 (Bogyoke market formerly known as Scott Market is the famous shopping place in Yangon. The best Myanmar arts and handicrafts souvenirs together with Lacquer ware from Bagan, silk and cotton fabric as well as jewelry from Mandalay and Inle region are some of the most favorite items.)
