Detail Itinerary

 Day 01  Arrival, Muse
 Our guide will meet you upon your check out at Gyegaung (Ruli) border point and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a visit of this border town. Overnight in Muse.

  Day 02  Muse - Lashio (coach) 
    
Breakfast at hotel and depart for Lashio (approx. 5 hour) through enchanting landscape and ethnic villages. Upon your arrival, visit Buddhist monastery and evening market. Overnight in Lashio.

  Day 03  Lashio - Pyin Oo Lwin (train) 
     A leisurely train rides through mountains, valley, exciting tunnels and bridges get you to Pyin Oo Lwin (approx. 10 hour).
Train ride in this route can be very much entertainment as it stops every small station where people load and unload their farm products. Above all crossing through world famous Gokteik viaduct will get you a thrilled experience. The historic Gokteik viaduct was built by British in 1900. Upon arrival at Pyin Oo Lwin, transfer by horse-drawn. Pyin Oo Lwin is a popular hill station of the British during colonial days in Myanmar. Pyin Oo Lwin impresses with its many churches, colonial buildings with gables, turrets and chimneys etc. Overnight in Pyin Oo Lwin.

   Day 04  Pyin Oo Lwin - Mandalay (coach) 
       
While you are in Pyin Oo Lwin you will use these horse-drawn royal carriages which still play major role in transport means for your day transport mean. It will be a worthwhile to visit botanical garden of a conservation of diverse botanical species around the world. Visit enchanting market with their multicolor flowers and vegetables. Late afternoon, depart to Mandalay. Overnight in Mandalay.

  Day 05  Mandalay - Mingun - Mandalay (boat) 
       
Breakfast at hotel and visit to kywezun jetty and board on privately chartered boat for Mingun across Ayeyarwaddy River. Observe Mingun Bell, the world's largest ringing bell weighing 90 tons; Pathodawgyi Pagoda, an enormous pile of bricks is all that remain. Return to Mandalay and continue visit "the Largest Book" at Kuthodaw Pagoda where entire Buddhist canon recorded on stone tablets totaling 729 in number. "Golden Monastery" to observe finest Myanmar wooden architecture, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda, a large Buddha Image carved out of single block of marble. Enjoy fantastic view of sunset from the Mandalay Hill. Overnight in Mandalay.

   Day 06 Mandalay - Amarapura - Sagaing - Mandalay (coach)  
       
Breakfast at hotel and visit Mahamuni Pagoda to the most revered golden-seated Image. Continue to ancient city of Amarapura, meaning city of immortality, where the country's largest monastery Mahagandayon is located. Observe the lunch process of hundreds of Buddhist monks and proceed to Ava, used to be the capital from 14th to 18th centuries. Observe "Queen Mei Nu Monastery" and look at 88 foot high watchtower, Bargayar teak monastery which is famous for its teak pillars amounting to 267 in total and the remains of the royal palace and fort. Proceed to Sagaing, covered with 600 white-painted pagodas and monasteries, Sagaing hill is widely regarded as the religious center of Myanmar and is home of 3,000 monks and 100 meditation centers. Enjoy fantastic sunset view from the 200 year old U Bain teak bridge. Return to Mandalay. Overnight in Mandalay.

  Day 7  Mandalay - Bagan (train) 
        Transfer to station for your Bagan bound train (117 UP 0400-1555). Bagan is the richest archaeological site in Asia founded in 10th century AD. Overnight in Bagan.

 

  Day 08   Bagan Sightseeing (horse cart) 
 
Breakfast at hotel and continue visit of Nyaung Oo market. Tour in the Asia richest archaeological zone includes the major monuments. Visiting magnificent temples and towering pagodas with ancient and beautifully painted murals dating back over a millennium. The temple interiors are often filled with rows of Buddha, images of guardian "Nats" or spirit gods and intricate murals depicting the life of Buddha and scene of royalty. In the evening a climb up "Bagan Tower" view of the sun setting over the mighty river and the surrounding plain filled with countless temples and pagodas. Also visit to lacquer-ware workshop and the long process of making bowls and trays that often take months to complete. Overnight in Bagan.

  Day 09 Bagan - Mt. Popa - Pyay (coach) 

  Breakfast at hotel and depart for Kalaw through the mainland and twisting and turning hilly drive through Shan plateau. En-route visit Mt. Popa, said to be the core of an extinct volcano. Mt. Popa considered the abode of most powerful "Nats" (spirit) and important Nat worship center. After that, depart to Pyay - one of the most ancient Pyu capitals in central Myanmar (approx. 10 hour). If time permits you may troll around the majestic Ayeyarwaddy riverbank to observe the life at busy river port. Overnight in Pyay.

   Day 10 Pyay - Ngwesaung / Chaungtha Beach (coach) 
 
Breakfast at hotel and depart Ngwesaung / Chaungtha beach (approx. 7 hour) through the delta region of Myanmar. After a long and tedious drive, reward to have a cool and nice quiet breeze at Ngwesaung beach. Overnight at Ngwesaung / Chaungtha beach.

   Day 11/12 Beach 
  Breakfast at hotel and rest of the day either relax or visit one of the fishermen village nearby. You may also do outing activities such as wind surfing or scuba diving etc. Overnight at beach.

 Day 13 Ngwesaung / Chaungtha - Pathein - Yangon (coach)
  Breakfast at hotel and depart for Pathein (approx. 3 hour), on the way visit elephant camp observe these mighty animal at their nature. After brief visit of traditional Pathein Hti (parasol) making process continue to Yangon (approx. 4 hour). Overnight in Yangon.

 Day 14 Yangon Sightseeing
  Breakfast at hotel visit Yangon City Tour; National museum to observe display of lion throne of King Thibaw, the last king of Myanmar monarch together with other historical importance such jewelry, royal furniture and wood carving, Myanmar traditional musical instruments and costumes of ethnic minorities. After that, proceed to city tour in the afternoon. Overnight in Yangon.
  (City tour includes Shwedagon Pagoda one of the world's most spectacular religious monuments. The golden dome rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Karaweik is known to be a royal barge on the royal lake for the fantastic photo view, Chaukhtatgyi reclining Buddha image. You may walk around Sule Pagoda and the Independence monument and high court to observe the colonial styled red-bricked buildings.)

Day 15 Yangon departure
 
Breakfast at hotel and visit Bogyoke market. In the evening, we transfer to airport for your departure to complete this tour.

 (Bogyoke market formerly known as Scott Market is the famous shopping place in Yangon. The best Myanmar arts and handicrafts souvenirs together with Lacquer ware from Bagan, silk and cotton fabric as well as jewelry from Mandalay and Inle region are some of the most favorite items.)
