Detail Itinerary
Day (1) Yangon arrival
  Welcome at Yangon International Airport and transfer to hotel and overnight in Yangon.
Day (2) Yangon Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Shwedagon Pagoda one of the world's most spectacular religious monuments.
The golden dome rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Continue to
National museum to observe display of lion throne of King Thibaw, the last king of Myanmar monarch
together with other historical importance such jewelry, royal furniture and wood carving, Myanmar
traditional musical instruments and costumes of ethnic minorities. After that, visit Karaweik Hall,
is known to be a royal barge on the royal lake for the fantastic photo view, Chaukhtatgyi reclining
Buddha image. You may walk around Sule Pagoda and the Independence monument and high court to observe
the colonial styled red-bricked buildings. Overnight in Yangon.
Day (3) Yangon - Bagan (flight)
An 80 minutes morning flight to Bagan, the first and most beautiful capital of the Burmese,
was founded in the eleventh century by a great king. Full-day visit makes to this huge area - full of culture.
Suggested itinerary: Visit to Shwezigon Pagoda, the only one in Bagan originally covered with gold,
continue to the cave-temple Kyanzittha Umin housing precious and very old murals, then visit to Gubyaukgyi
Temple built in classical Indian architecture, this morning ends with a visit to Upali Thein, ordination hall
of Buddhist monks showing famous murals: if time permits, visit a glimpse to huge Htilominlo Temple opposite to
Upali Thein. In the afternoon, do some shopping in one of Bagan famous lacquer ware manufacturing and then enjoy
sunset from Bagan tower. Overnight.
Day (4) Bagan - Mt. Popa - Bagan (coach)
After breakfast, take excursion through the sun-parched plains to the Mountain of Deities, Popa and climb on a
staircase the mountain with its shrines to the deities and its Buddha temples. Return back to Bagan late afternoon. Overnight in Bagan.
Day (5) Bagan - Mandalay (flight)
Early morning visit to lively Nyaung U market. Then a 30 minutes “hop” by plane to Mandalay, where the kings of Konbaung dynasty
resided and capitulated to the British at the end of last century. Impressive monasteries and temples are symbols Konbaung kings’ power.
Morning itinerary suggested: Visit to gold-plated teakwood carvings: walk through Kuthodaw Pagoda, praised as “biggest book on earth”
due to hundreds of marble slabs engraved with Buddhist sutras: then visit the huge Marble Buddha in a temple nearby: i In the afternoon visit
Mahamuni Temple housing the sacred gold Buddha, then a short drive to the town of Amarapura, formerly another king’s residency: U Bein bridge,
the world’s largest teak wood bridge. From there a short drives to Sagaing and then enjoys sunset from a hill pagoda overlooking dozens of temples
and pagodas – an unforgettable experience! Return back to Mandalay. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day (6) Mandalay - Mingun - Mandalay (boat)
Breakfast at hotel and visit to Kywezun jetty and board on privately chartered boat for Mingun across Ayeyarwaddy River. Visit Mingun with
bullock cart and return to Mandalay. Continue to visit Mandalay, enjoy fantastic view of sunset from the Mandalay hill. Overnight in Mandalay.
(Mingun sightseeing places are Mingun bell, the world's largest ringing bell weighing 90 tons, Pathodawgyi Pagoda an enormous pile of bricks
remain, Myatheintan Pagoda built in 19 century.)
(Mandalay tour highlights are "the largest book" at Kuthodaw Pagoda where entire Buddhist canon recorded on stone tablets totaling 729 in number.
"Shwe Kyaung" is meaning of golden monastery to observe finest Myanmar wooden architecture.)
Day (7) Mandalay - Inle Lake (flight)
The flight from the plain of Ayeyarwaddy to Heho on Shan Plateau takes only 30 minutes. Visitors will see different styles of Buddhist pagodas
and might meet mountain people in their native dress. 1 hour drives to Nyaungshwe at Inle Lake. Visitors will spend the rest of the days in small boats
on Inle Lake. They can see Intha-fishermen rowing with their legs, pagodas on artificial islands in the lake, floating gardens. Overnight in Inle Lake floating hotel.
Day (8) Inle Lake excursion
In the morning after breakfast you will take a boat and “(depending on weekday) visit a floating market, Nga Hpe Chaung (jumping cat monastery) and Paungdaw Oo Pagoda.
In addition visit silk weaving cottage industry and cheroots making firms in Inle Lake. Overnight.
Day (9) Inle Lake - Heho - Ngapali Beach (flight)
In the morning drive to Nyaungshwe, continue to visit the Shan style monastery and the market of Heho before taking departure flight to Thandwe, formerly Sandoway. After
a short bus transfer along the coastline, check in at the hotel along the white sand beaches of Ngapali. Overnight.
Day (10/11) Ngapali Beach (free)
Two days of rest and relaxation at the seaside. Ngapali, an Italian colony for a short time, was the first beach resort of our country. Ngapali, the whole area still is
unspoiled and can hardly be compared to the vacation centers somewhere else in Southern Asia. There are First-Class hotels now.
Day (12) Ngapali Beach - Yangon (flight)
Breakfast at hotel transfer to airport for Yangon bound flight. Visitors will arrive Yangon in the afternoon and half day Yangon sightseeing. Overnight in Yangon.
Day (13) Yangon departure
Breakfast at hotel and visit Bogyoke market. In the evening, we transfer to airport for your departure to complete this tour.
(Bogyoke market formerly known as Scott Market, it is the famous place for shopping in Yangon. Myanmar arts and handicrafts are best
souvenirs available there. Lacquer ware from Bagan, silk and cotton fabric as well as jewelry from Mandalay and Inle region are some of the most favorite items.)
